Nitrogen is used to freeze highly perishable food, such as seafood and poultry. High-pressure liquid Nitrogen (15,000 PSI) can also be used for food pulverization.

Hydrogen
Hydrogen is used to hydrogenate liquid oils for the production of peanut butter and margarine.
